2010 Subaru Legacy

The 2010 Subaru Legacy has been comprehensively redesigned and presents a marked departure from previous versions. New fenders bulge out dramatically and big, bright headlamps accent the powerful looking front end. While its predecessors were always quite reserved, this new Legacy makes no apologies for its bold styling. And for those that are appreciative of this new look, they will find their true rewards when they discover the loads of safety and luxury features presented by these very capable midsized sedans.

Honda Accord Sedan 2010

The Accord has been styled to attract more than just a passing glance. Its sharp lines and powerful stance excites the senses from any angle. With a large and luxurious interior, the Accord Sedan provides the comfort you deserve.
Comfort
In the Accord's case, bigger is better. It means more comfort and more room for those Honda details, like available leather-trimmed seats. The driver's seat has10-way power adjustment including power lumbar support
(EX and above) to fine tune a perfect fit. Rear passengers enjoy ample room conveniences like afold-down center armrest and a Rear HVAC Vent to keep them cool.
The Accord has a well-earned reputation of Honda safety technology.
Control
Every Accord is designed to keep you on course and away from danger. Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) helps sense oversteer or understeer in an emergency situation, and then adjusts brake pressure at each wheel and/or reduces engine power to help restore driver control and keep you on course.

HONDA FC Sport-2

The unveiling of the Honda FC Sport in the L.A. Auto Show provides a
glimpse of the future of the highways without carbon emissions. The concept car from the Japanese manufacturer uses the technology of the FCX Clarity Sedan.
The performance of the Honda FC Sport aims to please car enthusiasts through a world far from petroleum. According to manufacturers, it is called a sports car because it is designed to run like one in the near hydrogen auto world of the future.
The V Flow fuel cell technology of Honda is being maximized by coupling it with a very lightweight sports car that has excellent aerodynamics, powerful engine, and no emissions at all.
The Honda FC Sport is engineered to be very efficient on the road. The rear seats house the fuel cell stack while the battery pack is located ideally in the low middle portion of the car. The electric motor is positioned slightly in front of the rear axle. Fuel storage tanks are also built above the rear axle.
The super car look of the Honda FC is quite deceiving because unlike the usual sporty cars, this hydrogen powered car can accommodate three passengers.

Lexus Lf-A

A Lexus LF-A mule has unofficially recorded a lap time on the Nordschleife of 7 minutes, 24 seconds. This is not in dispute. What is in dispute is how many seconds faster the LF-A's lap time is than that of the 2008 Porsche 911 GT2, the previous "King of the 'Ring" record holder. Wikipedia notes that the fastest 911 GT2 driven around the Ring posted a lap time of 7 minutes, 32 seconds and was driven by Walter Röhrl, Porsche's company test driver and accomplished WRC driver and road racing pilot. Porsche was so proud of the feat that it produced a snazzy video of the run that you can watch here. AutoExpress, however, which reported on the LF-A's remarkable lap time, claims that the fastest 911 GT2 lap time on the Nurburgring is 7 minutes, 25 seconds, but we could find no evidence on the web of a stock 911 GT2 ever posting a time that fast. Also note that a handful of other cars have posted lap times, but all are either tuner cars or limited production boutique cars like the Pagani Zonda F.

Voice-Activated HDD Navigation System

LEXUS GS 450h

The refreshed GSh is easily the best Lexus hybrid facelift—the new front grille in particular stands out as a clean, modern design, and the rear taillamps also show some nice execution.
I also like what’s been done with the lower chrome door sills, which now have a matte base. This is different from the other Lexus hybrids, and a nice subtle touch that I didn’t notice right away.
Also announced this week at the Frankfurt Auto Show was the revised 2010 Lexus GS 450h, which sports a new grille, among other small changes:
o The pre-crash collision system has been revised to include a pre-crash seatbelt and brake assist functions.
o The GSh navigation system has been upgraded to the Lexus 6th-gen system, which runs off a hard drive and will support Europe-wide traffic information (and likely Lexus Enform/XM Traffic in the USA).

The Mondeo has become a ubiquitous sight on British roads since its launch in 1993.

But the Mondeo is now far more than a runabout for the masses – its huge range of bodystyles and engine choices means there's something for everyone.

We took to the roads in the hot Mondeo ST220 for a week to put it through its paces. Read on for our full review, or click the links to skip to a section.

With a 0-62mph acceleration time of 7.6 seconds and a top speed of 155mph, the Mondeo ST220 is a rapid machine. But then it should be with a lusty 3-litre V6 engine producing 226bhp. It makes a lovely noise too, especially with the boomy twin exhaust pipes. The ST220 is the quickest model in the range, with a diesel ST holding up the sporty end of the bargain for the cost conscious buyer. More mainstream models include 1.8, 2-litre and 2.5 petrols and 2-litre and 2.2 diesels, all of which are impressive performers.

The original Ford Ka, launched in 1996, was a massive hit with British buyers. It remained on sale for 13 years and has been the most search-for used city car on Auto Trader for a long time, enjoying particular popularity among new drivers and first-time buyers.

Now Ford has taken on the always-difficult task of giving a successful design a modern makeover. While the new Fiesta has enjoyed rave reviews, reaction to the updated Ka has been more muted. But Keith Collantine found much to like about the new model.

Family MPVs only used to have to tick the box marked practical.

Now the market is so competitive, different vehicles are trying to fill different niches and the Ford S-Max is targeting drivers who like the Ford Galaxy’s practicality but would really like a good-looking car which is fun to drive too.

There is a wide range of performance to satisfy most needs with 1.8- and 2-litre diesel models and 2.3- and 2.5-litre petrol versions. We drove the 220bhp 2.5-litre petrol model – which features the same engine as the hot-hatch Ford Focus ST hot hatch. This can power the car from 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds and on to a maximum speed of 143mph and provides the ultimate S-Max driving experience. At the other end of the range the 125bhp 1.8-litre diesel model covers 0-60mph in 11.1 seconds and has a top speed of 116mph. There is a choice of 5- and 6-speed automatic and 6-speed manual gearboxes. Our test model featured a high-quality six speed manual gearbox.

It's testament to the quality of the new Ford Transit that you're reading this roadtest of the Ford Tourneo at all on Auto Trader.

After all, the Transit is better known for its load-lugging abilities than passenger car comfort.

But the new Transit is nothing short of excellent, and when it's combined with a bundle of fancy bits, you get something that can worry more conventional MPVs.

While most private buyers would choose a Galaxy over the Tourneo, the Tranny-in-a-sharp-suit finds favour with businesses looking to ferry customers from hotel to airport, or office to function suite.

Our 8-seater test van came with comfortable leather seats, and rear access was excellent thanks to two huge sliding doors.

Ford has pulled out all the stops to ensure it has a range of highly-competitive models to suit most tastes and the Ford Kuga now sees it scrapping for a share of the SUV market.

The Ford Kuga name might hark back to the past and memories of the Ford Cougar but there is nothing old-fashioned about this eye-catching gem of an SUV.

The handsome Ford C-Max was a relative latecomer to the compact MPV market; but buyers have wasted no time in taking it to their hearts. Its now one of the best sellers in its class.

It's based on the excellent Ford Focus hatchback (the original version was known as the Ford Focus C-Max), which grants it excellent driving dynamics.

BMW Sreies 7

The new 750i is powered by BMW's 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, which first appeared under the hood of the new X6. Rated at 400 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. The twin-turbocharged V8 will be powering the 750i and 750Li models, in both traditional two wheel drive and BMW's new xDrive (AWD) versions. The 760i will find its forward and reverse motion from an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The new 7-Series will roll on 18-inch alloy wheels shod in all-season run-flat tires in a 245/50R18 size. Two styles of 19-inch wheels with performance-oriented rubber will be optional.

Another detail change meant to improve fuel consumption by reducing drag is a flap in the grille that eliminates unneeded airflow.

BMW 5 SERIES

BMW flew me out to the prettier parts of New Jersey, stuffed me full of rich food, and put me through a day of "university" before letting me loose behind the wheel of the 5-Series GT.

Some physicists say that if you keep slicing any distance in half, you'll get smaller and smaller lengths until--theoretically--you reach the smallest distance possible, a length so small it's almost unimaginable. BMWmust be approaching that theoretical quantum limit with the intervals in their model range, as the new 5-Series Gran Turismo--or GT, as it's badged--somehow finds space between the 5-Series sedan, X6 sports-activity "coupe" and the 5-Series Touring wagon.

Despite its closeness to other models in the BMW range, including the 7-Series, with which it shares its wheelbase and some styling elements, the 5-Series GT does stand out in several ways. In the end, though, it's still very much a familiar bit ofBMW engineering.

DaimlerChrysler attempted to buy the Rolls-Royce/Bentley marque when Vickers offered the company up for sale. When this attempt failed (they were outbid by BMW and Volkswagen respectively) they introduced the Maybach as a direct challenger in 2002. Both models are variants of the same ultra-luxurious automobile. The model numbers reflect the respective lengths of the automobiles in decimetres; the 57 is more likely to be owner-driven while the longer 62 is designed with a chauffeur in mind.
